One Year Portraits!

We had Eli's one year portraits taken yesterday and they turned out great! I really thought that getting him to sit still, look at the camera and smile would be close to an impossibility, but with the help of the photographer, daddy, Gramamma, Pop, and some crazy dance moves by mommy we were able to keep him entertained enough to get some good shots (of him, not my crazy dance moves. Sorry... :)).

Here are a few of the pics.

The outfit that Eli is wearing in these pics was actually J.C.'s dad's when he was a baby. He and J.C. both had portraits taken in it and now we have some with Eli!

And now for the cheesy out-take. The photographer made us pose for this and we were both trying not to laugh. I feel like the caption should say "Yes, I will have your baby". Ah, it makes me giggle. :)

Hahaha, that last one is great!
And the photos of Eli are adorable! I love the ones where he's grabbing his shirt and sticking out his tongue :).

Those are adorable!! My favorite is of him sticking out his tongue. I love the new header photo too.

They could have made the last photo look less like he was trying to hold up your stomach while simultaneously proposing to you. . . that's pretty hilarious.

BUT - speaking of awkward maternity shots - you MUST see this one:
