Another picture dump

Here’s another one my typical posts - random recent pictures with short captions.  It’s all I’ve got these days.  Enjoy.

Eli recently enjoyed his first corndog.IMG_1697
I think he liked it.IMG_1702

This is the face Eli makes these days when I ask him to smile for the camera.  Lovely…IMG_1753

The weather was beautiful on Labor Day, so we decided to go to one of our favorite outdoor spots – Tannehill State Park.

We took a walk on our trail.

Disclaimer on the following videos:  My house is a disaster.  Garbage is overflowing, drawers and cabinets are open, random things are strewn on the floor, and counters and tabletops are covered with stuff.  Not to worry, though.  My house only looks like this about 85% of the time.  10% of the time it’s probably worse, and maybe 5% of the time it’s clean(ish).  I am ashamedly giving you this little peak because I want to document these memories of everyday life for myself.  Judge away about my domestication skills.  I judge myself all the time.  Just please don’t call child protective services :).

Great pictures!! We really need to go to Tannehill with y'all sometime. I find myself pitiful that I've NEVER taken my kid there. I don't even think I've been there since I was a kid...sad.

As always, precious, precious kiddos.
And your house does not even look bad (not that I'm one to judge anyway, but seriously, it's not bad).

I love your babies. Those videos made me laugh! Eli is such a cutie with his new smile, I just adore him. I love your disclaimer about your house, I need a disclaimer like that framed and hung on our front door. I miss you all and so hope to be able to come visit with you real soon.

I hate to break it to you, but apparently Eli is taking fashion ques from my boys, who have sported boots and diapers for at least 5 years (other clothing is obviously an accessory).
As for the house, I have decided that it just goes with the kids. There will come a day when I clean my house and wake up the next day with the dishes and laundry still done and nothing to trip me on the floor or scrub off the walls... at which point I will probably be calling for my grandkids to come visit because things are too quiet. :)
